Parasite SEO.

In most restricted categories Google trusts Reddit, Quora, and Medium more than it trusts your domain — no matter how authoritative your site is, the algorithm has decided your category is YMYL and the parasite platforms are the safe trusted source. Parasite SEO is the way to rank where direct-domain ranking is capped, and in many verticals it produces more traffic than your own domain.

01What it gets youIn plain terms
02How it works4 steps
  1. 01

    SERP mapping

For your top 100 buyer-intent queries, we map which positions are Reddit, Quora, niche forums, YMYL authority sites, and direct-domain. Tells us which queries you can realistically rank on your own and which need parasite work.

  2. 02

    Account warming

Where we don’t already have established accounts in your category, we warm new ones over 6–12 weeks before they start ranking content. Cold accounts don’t rank and get shadowbanned in days; warmed accounts compound over years.

  3. 03

    Content placement

Reddit threads in target subreddits, Quora answers on target questions, Medium long-form on adjacent topics. Each piece calibrated to the platform’s culture and rules — Reddit content that reads like an ad gets removed in hours.

  4. 04

    Ranking maintenance

Upvote velocity, comment engagement, periodic editing to keep content current. Reddit threads decay if abandoned; the ones that rank for years get tended.

03FAQAsked first
01 Is this allowed by Reddit or Quora?

Reddit’s rules permit promotional content if you participate in the community more broadly — the 1:9 rule (one promotional, nine non-promotional). We comply with that. Quora explicitly allows commercial answers if they’re informative. We don’t do disguised promotion or shadowbanning workarounds; the accounts last because the content is actually useful.

02 How long before a Reddit post ranks?

In an active subreddit with good upvote velocity: 24–72 hours to enter the SERP, 1–2 weeks to settle. In a slower subreddit: 2–6 weeks. Quora answers compound slower but rank longer — months to first position, years of stable traffic afterward.

03 What if Reddit changes the algorithm and parasite ranking dies?

It might. Google has decreased the parasite weighting twice in the last two years and re-increased it both times because user satisfaction dropped. The risk is real but slow — months of warning before parasite ranking would meaningfully degrade. Worth running while it works.
